SOME RECOMMEDED DUAS AFTER THE FINAL TASHAHHUD BEFORE TASLEEM

 Bismillah. 


It's highly recommended to make some recommended duas before ending our salaat. Please find two below;

Allaahumma 'innee 'a'oothu bika min 'athaabil-qabri, wa min 'athaabi jahannama, wa min fitnatil-mahyaa walmamaati, wa min sharri fitnatil-maseehid-dajjaal. Meaning O ALLAH, I seek refuge in YOU from the punishment of the grave, and from the punishment of Hell-fire, and from the trials of life and death, and from the evil of the trial of the False Messiah.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، وَمِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ، وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ

Al-Bukhari 2/102, Muslim 1/412, and this is Muslim's wording.

Another good one is;

Allaahumma 'innee dhalamtu nafsee dhulman katheeran, wa laa yaghfiruth-thunooba 'illaa 'Anta, faghfir lee maghfiratan min 'indika warhamnee 'innaka 'Antal-Ghafoorur-Raheem. Meaning O ALLAH, I have greatly wronged myself and no one forgives sins but YOU. So, grant me forgiveness and have mercy on me. Surely, you are Forgiving, Merciful.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي ظُلْماً كَثِيراً، وَلَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَغْفِرَةً مِنْ عِنْدِكَ وَارْحَمْنِي إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ

Al-Bukhari 8/168, Muslim 4/2078.

May ALLAH aid us to be able to perfect our salaat. Aameen.

 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 12th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani (Friday 27th November. 2020). AL-KAFAN (SHROUDING THE DEAD MUSLIM). Bismillah.  Shrouding should start immediately after washing the body of the deceased. It is recommended to use white sheets from inexpensive material. Extravagance is not recommended in the Kafan (Shroud). All measurements may vary depending on the stature of the deceased. The material of the sheet should not have any stitching, not be silk, nor should any gold be used. THE KAFAN OF A MALE The Kafan of a male should consist of three white wrapping sheets. Outer sheet - Lifafah, Second sheet - Izaar And Third sheet - Qamees (shirt) STEPS OF SHROUDING: The wrapping sheets should be opened and spread out one on the top of the other.
